Adam and Evelyn's normal lives are irrevocably changed when a mysterious ailment dwindles humanity to the brink of extinction. Fortunately for the pair, society went out with a sudden, eerie whimper — leaving an overabundance of supplies and retaining the luxuries of modern civilization. Within the comfort and safety of Adam's air-conditioned apartment, it hardly feels like anything has changed.

However, a great deal has changed. Aside from being entirely dependent on a substance known as Deprexant, they also have to navigate "sleepwalkers." This is the tale of their survival.
